The Sunday Worldwide Writing Workout, 24 May
Join us online for 2.5 hours of writing on Sunday the 24th of May.
5 - 7.30pm CET. Check here for the time where you are.
From the comfort of your sofa, desk, or window seat, join me and other writers from around the world for 2½ hours of writing, writing, and more writing. We'll do short creative writing exercises, a couple of longer ones, and share some stories. We'll look at how reading can be a prompt for writing, especially at times like these when moments of quiet, focus and inspiration are harder to come by.
We'll create a couple of new stories (and a poem), escape for a brief moment from the news, and look at ways to transform the details of how we're living now into art.
By the end of the Writing Workout, you'll have the first draft of three new pieces, and you'll have picked up some tips and tricks to keep working and playing with for the weeks ahead.
Once you've booked, you'll be emailed a link to the Zoom classroom. No need to download anything – you can join the class directly from your browser.
